Monitoring and Evaluation

Measuring the success of our work is an important element of what we do. We are fortunate that much of our work is easily quantifiable. For example, we measure the number of children treated in each centre and the number of children surviving after 12 months to assess survival rates each year. We also monitor the number of children completing the full course of treatment and the number of late diagnoses.

As a requirement of funding, each project is asked to complete a quarterly progress report which measures these statistics along with progress against agreed outcomes. Each tranche of funding is released on demonstration of successful achievement of outcomes in the previous quarter.
