On 19 September Jules Knott  and five friends from his local pub, The Camp House Inn in Grimley near Worcester completed a 1,066 cycle ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End in support of World Child Cancer.   Despite a wonky knee and a broken rib Jules was not deterred from getting to the finish line.

"I used to run and play rugby as well as riding motor cycles. Doing all this, I knackered a knee. I also recently damaged a rib, so I had to take pain killers each day." Jules said.   The team left John O’Groats on 6September and arrived in Land’s End after battling through rain and autumn winds on schedule on 19 September.

The team have raised more than £5,000 for World Child Cancer thanks to massive support from family and friends and well-wishers along the way. SGMS Group, Jules’s employer, has agreed to match pound for pound everything the Grimley Gorrillas raise bringing the final amount to over £6,000.
