We are excited to announce that Samuel Eto’o, Inter Milan striker and captain of the Cameroon national football team, has become our new Patron....Samuel Eto’o started his career in football as a minor playing for Real Madrid B, loaned out for a few years before joining Mallorca followed by Barcelona in 2004.  At Barcelona Eto’o was awarded with UEFA Best forward of the Year and gained his third consecutive African Player of the Year Award title.  This third honour he dedicated to the children of Africa.  In July 2009, Eto’o transferred to Inter Milan where he currently plays.

Samual Eto'o has said: “I am honoured to become a Patron of World Child Cancer.  The work the Charity undertakes to support children with cancer in some of the poorest countries in the world is not only essential, but inspirational.”

It is fantastic news that Samuel supports our work and we are extremely proud to have his support and endorsement.
