Orange Autumn Challenge
Sunday 9th September 2012
Now in our third year, the Orange Autumn Challenge is changing and ready to challenge both past and new walkers!
Having walked towards the hum drum of London for the last two years we wanted to switch it around and walk the wonderful River Thames but, in the opposite direction. This year we are going to start at the Little Green in Richmond and do a circular walk taking in the rural sites of Petersham Meadow, Marble Hill House and Ham House, Teddington Lock and Weir, Kingston-upon-Thames with its attractive market place, Hampton Court Park and the historic Hampton Court Palace. We will then double back on ourselves and return to the starting point at Richmond.

| Distance | 16 miles |
| Route | A circular walk from Richmond, Greater London along the River Thames towards the wonderful Hampton Court and returning back to Richmond. |
| Start | 10am registration for a 10.30am start |
| Finish | Approximately 4pm |
| Option | There is an option to do a shorter 8 mile walk and it is your choice which leg you do. Either start with us at Richmond or meet us at 12.30pm at Hampton for the return leg. |
| Registration | £10 Entry fee, includes a free t-shirt when you sign up! |
The walk starts from Richmond Little Green at 10.30am and we envisage everyone completing the event by 17.00pm. Should anyone wish to take part in a shorter walk there will be an 8 mile walk starting at Hampton Court at 13.00pm. The event will finish in a pub close to the Little Green in Richmond.
