What is a Sleep Out?
Sleep Out is back for 2020! Sleep under the stars and raise money for World Child Cancer and the JE3 Foundation. You can enter individually, with friends or as a family and are sponsored to survive the night sleeping open to the elements. You bring your own sleeping bag and roll mat and we'll provide cardboard and tape for you to create your own shelter.
About the event
This event is extra special because it gives Sleepers the opportunity to spend the night on the Leyton Orient pitch or in the stands at the Breyer Group Stadium where the likes of Peter Kitchen, Peter Shilton, Laurie Cunningham and Macauley Bonne have trodden. …every fan’s dream!
Who are we fundraising for?
The Sleep Out is equally benefiting World Child Cancer, who support the diagnosis, treatment and support of children with cancer and their families around the world, and the JE3 Foundation, a charity in memory of Justin Edinburgh benefiting health and well-being causes and in particular lobbying for a law change (to be named ‘Justin's Law’) to make defibrillators mandatory in all sports facilities.
There is a registration fee is £10 per adult, and free for children, and the fundraising target is £100 per adult and £20 per child.
We will provide a charity t shirt to collect and wear on the night, and hot drinks and a bacon roll in the morning.
