This event is kindly being organised by our Edinburgh Ambassadors, proudly supporting World Child Cancer
This Ceilidh fundraiser promises an evening of fun, dinner and dancing. There might be a surprise piping performance (sorry let the cat of the bag - yes pun intended)!
Have no fear if you're new to a Ceilidh, the expert caller from The McAlastairs goes through all the steps, so you can pick it up quickly and dance your socks off on the dance floor. They play the classic ceilidh dances, and throw in a few more adventurous ones to keep the dance floor buzzing!
The event is being held at Teviot Row House, which is a Gothic style Student Union at the University of Edinburgh, in the recently renovated Amphion room.
Ticket Costs are £25 per adult or £10 per child. Tickets are to be purchased through this link, no tickets will be available on the door. Ticket prices include a meal of Haggis, neeps and tatties.
The Ticket Costs pay for the cost of staging the Ceilidh. All donations will support children with cancer in low and middle income countries. Most childhood cancers can be effectively treated if diagnosed early enough. World Child Cancer supports children, their families and healthcare professionals to maximise the effectiveness of treatment in developing countries, where survival rates can be as low as 10%.
The tickets are virtual. All you need to bring along your receipt, but never fear if you forget it - we will have your names at the door.
