Guy caught the marathon bug after taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon two years running, and then running the London Marathon in 2017. After three challenging runs, and raising over £4,000 along the way, Guy has now put together a team from Right Now Residential to take on the Spartan Super!
Guy’s incredible fundraising efforts amount to enough funds to cover the cost for a palliative care outreach nurse to visit families in rural Cameroon for two years. Guy has built a great rapport with the charity due to his continued commitment, and his motivation comes from seeing how far relatively small amounts of money can go.
I love supporting World Child Cancer because it is real people you talk to in the charity and get to build a relationship with. They are good people doing good things. I hope by raising awareness of their cause, we can get more people involved to support children with cancer by taking on an event, donating or volunteering their time.
Guy and the team at Right Now Residential are now preparing to take on their biggest challenge yet; the Spartan Super. If you’re inspired by Guy’s achievements then check how you could get involved today!
