World Child Cancer have partnered with Lions District 105C for 2018-2019, and the district aims to raise £5,000 for our work in Cameroon. Alice, Senior Community and Events Executive, recently spoke at the 105C 2019 Convention with retired Children's Cancer Nurse and World Child Cancer Trustee Rachel Hollis.
The Rotary Club of Putney welcomed Community and Events intern Michael to their weekly meeting in October 2018.
World Child Cancer was chosen as Inner Wheel's District 18 Charity of the Year for 2017-18. Thank you to the 26 individual clubs who raised over £3,000 which is fantastic. That amount could pay for essential ward equipment in Malawi for one year.
The Rotary Club of Morden welcomed Community and Events Manger, Lisa Fernandes to their weekly club meeting to find out about the great work that World Child Cancer does to support children with cancer in the developing world. Thank you to President Margaret Sinclair (pictured right) for presenting Lisa with a very generous donation of £200, which could pay for one round of chemotherapy for four children in Ghana.
The Rotary Club of Northwick Park recently welcomed our Volunteer Speaker, Paul Trendall, who gave the Club an insight into the difference that World Child Cancer makes to children with cancer, and their families, in the developing world. We would like to thank the members of Northwick Park for their generous donation of £50, which could pay for a round of life-saving chemotherapy for a child in Ghana.

World Child Cancer attended RIBI's Annual Conference in Torquay in April 2018 and had a stand in the Community Showcase Exhibition.
