Thank you for reducing child mortality in Malawi whilst increasing wellbeing and quality of life
March 28, 2023UK Aid Match team visit to Bangladesh
May 24, 2023Our lovely Programmes Intern, Sarah, has come to the end of her internship with us here at World Child Cancer. We asked her to share a little about her experience of working with our programmes team.
“My experience as a Programmes Intern in World Child Cancer has been incredibly fulfilling. Working in the charity has been wonderful and has given me great insight into various aspects of international development and the operations of a multi-country Programmes Team. With this, I have gained a fuller understanding of the positive impact World Child Cancer’s work has on so many children, families and healthcare staff across the world.
Overall, the internship has provided me with great skills to prepare me as I begin my career after university, increased my confidence and has allowed me to meet so many fantastic people.
Thank you to everyone at the charity, I am very grateful to have been part of their brilliant work.”
Thank you so much for all of your hard work Sarah – you will be missed! We wish you the best of luck in your next endeavour.
