‘Super You’ Volunteer Workshop

In January 2018 World Child Cancer hosted a volunteer workshop to celebrate the achievements of our incredible volunteers. The day focused on events over the Christmas period and included brainstorming and participatory sessions on how you can get the most out of your volunteering experience with us.

Our team were joined by volunteers, past and present, and were awarded with certificates to recognise their achievements with us, including Amy Samson who spent a total of 23 hours volunteering with World Child Cancer in 2017!

I love volunteering for such a vital charity, it means so much to me and really does make such a difference. Furthermore, as well as helping those in need, you have fun and make some amazing friends along the way! Amy, volunteer

If you missed out on the workshop, you can get involved by joining us at our upcoming train station collections at various London railway stations. If you are interested, please share your availability on this Doodle Poll or download our new Fundraising Pack for more inspiration on organising your own event!
