Ambassadors Raise over £6,500 for Children in Cameroon

Ambassadors Mark Everard and Geeta Nanda helped to raise over £6,500 for World Child Cancer as 28 teams from the housing, construction and professional services industries showed their support by taking part in a pub quiz on Monday 3rd July 2017.

In this fun filled event held at The Alice pub, Houndsdtich, the teams took part in an enthralling quiz with Notting Hill taking home the trophy as winners. A huge thanks and congratulations to all those that got involved with the money raised helping to transform the lives of the 300,000 children that develop cancer each year.

The quiz night was part of Mark and Geeta’s ongoing challenge to raise £85,000 to support children with cancer in Cameroon. An estimated 1000 children develop cancer each year in Cameroon with the majority never diagnosed or even treated.

You can help Mark and Geeta achieve their fundraising goal by visiting their JustGiving page where just £25 can help to provide accurate diagnosis for 10 children in Cameroon.
