Can your school 'Be A Hero For Change'?

World Child Cancer is excited to launch our latest school campaign 'Be A Hero For Change'!

We are asking primary school children to wear and make a cape and to be a hero for a day! In class or in assembly children will then learn all about the Heroes School in Myanmar and how this is enabling children to continue their studies whilst receiving treatment. The session also draws on themes from the PSHE curriculum and makes learning fun.

At the end of the session each child will be asked to make a pledge for the future, such as 'I will read with mummy and/or daddy before bed.' Each child that takes part will be asked to donate £1. Just £30 could provide nutritional support for 6 children with cancer in Myanmar.

You can take part in this campaign any time between September and December with all the resources ready to download, including a PowerPoint and a hero certificate!

If you would like to choose us as your Charity Of The Year or would like someone from the charity to come and deliver a talk then please get in touch.
