Our brave, international team of trekkers made it to the summit of Kilimanjaro!
22 courageous souls took on the challenge of a lifetime to support children with cancer in the low and middle income world. They braved the elements, the fatigue and the challenging environment to make it to the top on Sunday 4th December. When they left their various home - as far afield as the UK and New Zealand - they had already raised more than £90,000...but they are determined to reach that £100,000 mark which will make such a difference to children with cancer, and their families, in some of the poorest countries in the world.
The team included a group from UK Accountancy from Price Bailey (above) who even remembered to take their banner to the top!
As one of the trekkers said: 'Reaching new heights to raise awareness of childhood cancer in the low and middle income world. We did it team. We reached the roof of Africa!'
Please show your support for the World Child Cancer Trek Kili team - and help them reach their fundraising goal (and don't forget to leave a motivational message).
