George takes on Ride 100!

Meet George, our Programme Coordinator from Ghana. Next Sunday George and his infectious smile will be taking to the streets of London to take part in one of the biggest cycling events in the UK, Ride London. Over the past few months, due to a lack of a bike, George has adopted a somewhat creative approach to his training to make sure he’s physically ready, including doing a 1,000 skips every morning when he wakes up. Today, thanks to the generosity of one of our supporters, George has been introduced to his new bike and now has just over a week to prepare for the 100 mile challenge that awaits him. We wish George and the rest of the WCC Ride London team on Sunday the very best of luck. Remember they are just hills; get over it!
