Give children with cancer a Christmas to remember

For many of us Christmas is the most wonderful time of year. It is a time to snuggle up by the fire, for friends and family to gather and exchange gifts, enjoy good food and spend quality time with loved ones. For children and adults alike Christmas is a magical time.

But for some, it is a milestone. For children with cancer and their families in developing countries, Christmas is a landmark. Hearing of their child’s diagnosis means not knowing whether they could spend another Christmas together as a family.

A Christmas party gives children undergoing treatment a chance to forget cancer for a moment and enjoy the special time of year. A Christmas party will be held at the Korle Bu and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospitals on December 16th . Donate before December 12th to support celebrations that give a chance for children on the ward to meet survivors, take part in the festive cheer and give families hope about the future of their child.

Wish families in Ghana ‘Afenhyia Pa!’ this Christmas. A donation of £4 could pay for Christmas dinner whilst £3 could give a child a present this Christmas. All donations made through our Christmas party fundraising page will go directly to children with cancer in Ghana:
