Neve's Haircut

Neve is a normal school girl from Wales but this month she did something extraordinary.

She decided to cut her long hair off to raise vital funds for World Child Cancer and help children with cancer, and their families, in the developing world. Neve had taken inspiration from an older friend who had cut her hair for charity and decided it was a good way to help others.

Her hair was donated to the Little Princess Trust, a charity that makes real hair wigs for children undergoing cancer treatment. Meaning which Neve's efforts have gone twice as far by supporting two charities in helping children with cancer both close to home and in the developing world.

We are very lucky in this country to have good health care and Neve thinks other people should have that too. Raising money for others is a very good thing to do and you can do it in lots of different ways; you don't need to cut your hair.

Neve raised an incredible £184.50, which could support services that enable the accurate diagnosis of 10 children with cancer in Malawi. If you are interested in raising money for World Child Cancer then please get in touch today, our fundraising team would be happy to help.
