We would like to send a special thank you to our incredible supporters who joined us at our annual event, The Spirit of Christmas, which took place on December 7th 2017.
In a magical evening enjoyed by all, guests were treated to performances from the wonderful Dulwich College Chapel Choir, a reading from Larry Lamb and speeches from Dr Joseph Spence, Master of Dulwich College, and Christophe Bird who is eight years old and been a supporter of World Child Cancer since 2014.
The evening was full of festivities with mince pies, generously donated by Harrods, and mulled wine served with several activities for adults and children alike to engage in including our wish tree which gave our guests a chance to give children with cancer a Christmas to remember.
We are enormously grateful to all those who joined us on the night and to those who could not attend but continue support children with cancer in developing countries across the globe. You raised an incredible £4000 on the evening which will make a huge difference to ensuring more children get a faster route to better treatment.
As part of our Stop the Childhood Cancer Clock appeal, all donations made by December 18th will be doubled by the UK Government. We are close to reaching our target which will enable us to transform the lives of children with cancer in Ghana. If you only give one gift this Christmas, let it be the gift of growing up.
